for kernel 2.6 and yenta, what to have in /etc/sysconfig/pcmcia?

i had "yenta" for pcic in 2.4.

should i leave it as that? i just wonder why it's not
loading yenta_socket auto, and why i get no beeps and
auto stuff on card inserts.
