[Linux-parport] how to connect to a remote parallel port

Hi,

I have 2 computers (a desktop and a laptop) both running Linux.
They are both connected to a LAN (ethernet). 
>From my desktop I would like to access the parallel port of my laptop and make
it look like a local parallel port.
For example: from my desktop
- /dev/parport0 connects to the parallel port of the desktop.
- /dev/parport1 connects to the parallel port of the laptop.

How can I do this?
