OT: NAND ECC rates

HI !

 This is a bit off topic - but I guess this list would have some realistic 
 data at hand. I'm looking for data on ECC correction rates in NAND, there 
 are quite a few claims to be found but no hard data that can be referenced
 (i.e. the Lyric folks claim rates of up to 1 bit in 1000 comming out wrong

 confirm such correction rates in NAND ? Does anyone know of a source for
 actual data ?
