mount to nand flash

Hi all

I trying to boot the kernel 2.6.18-rc2 on compulab card cmx255
The config is attached
The file system is Ext3 
The patch is from http://raph.people.8d.com : 8d-cmx2xx-2.6.18-rc2-aug16.diff 
I think that the kernel cannot see the file system 
Because on the old kernel I do not set parameter "root="/dev/ec.. "
