jffs basics

Hi,
I m new to Linux and JFFS also.

    In my machine I have HDD and Flash.On hdd i have installed kernel
2.6.Now I want to partition my flash.
How do I mount my flash and then make partition in that [ may be JFFS] and
then install kernel/linux on the flash so that becomes bootable flash
And then i wil remove my HDD to boot from flash system!
 Or is there in other way to mount and partition and install kernel on
Flash system?? I m not aware
