experience with using jffs

hi, friends,

i am evaluating using the jffs on top of a compact
flash running linux system. i'd like to hear your
experiences with using the jffs, like stability,
functional compliance with FS semantics, performance,
etc.

also, several questions:

can grub boot from jffs?
does jffs work on compact flash right now, i seem to
got conflicting answers while searching the web.
