how to init and mount jffs2?

dear david,
thanks for your help,
now i try to:
eraseall /dev/mtd1
cp test.img /dev/mtdblock1
mount -t jffs2 /dev/mtdblock1 /mnt
then it report many "magic bitmask not found"
do i missing something?
