hi all
I am using Am29LV065D flash chip of 8mb on my
board processor sc2200 national semiconductor
what i have done is i have partitioned my chip into
2
linux is able to detect the chip and creates two
partitions but but when in query mode
it says chip erase not supported
i have put down the boting text
when i try to erase the flash
it says timed out mtd erasure failure
it is checking time_after(jiffes,timeo)
is getting failed
so i am getting this message
regarding my erase program i have put below the boot

when i try to dd my jjfs.image
it says input output error 0 bytes in and out
and one more imp thing is that
block erase time out i s given in micro seconds
when queried the chip
but data sheet say it is in millisecond
any idea please reply me
