Attempt to fix 'not ready for buffer write, status 0xa8' problems.
 - Make erase timeout logic notice that a suspend happened even if it didn't
   actually check the chip until after the resume, so we don't time out when we
   shouldn't.
 - Reset status register in a few more places.
