[PATCH 09/10] wifi: mt76: mt7915: validate WED TX statistics response

Jiale Yao yaojiale02 at 163.com
Mon Oct 19 03:15:04 PDT 2026

The WED statistics query optionally skips a response prefix and then
reads a fixed statistics structure without validating either range. A
truncated firmware response can cause out-of-bounds reads.

Calculate the chip-specific prefix and require the complete response
before pulling the prefix.
