WiFi adapter ALFA awus036axml - trouble initializing USB interface unless bluetooth blacklisted

Okay, I was obviously posting this infodump in the wrong place. Can someone here 
point me in a better direction? I guess, there are more people out there that 
would like to see this adapter working, as it is physically pretty neat, with 
its dedicated SMA connectors and all.
