GEODE CS5535/CS5536 Watchdog Timer question

Perhaps for now I got my partial answer:

Enabling CONFIG_GEODE_MFGPT_TIMER causes a system hang during boot.

I was looking for Geode Hardware Watchdog timer driver support in the Linux Kernel for our LX800/CS5536 platform. I found this two related options in the Kernel config (2.6.26-rc7):
CONFIG_GEODE_MFGPT_TIMER

and

CONFIG_GEODE_WDT

Which one should I use? What's the difference between those two?
