Configuring glibc-2.8 for arm

I apologize for an empty mail, it got sent accidentally.

I am trying to configure glibc-2.8 for arm1176. For that I have also downloaded the glibc-ports-2.8 also. But I am getting trouble in configuring it. 

Below is the configuration line I am using. Please let me know what I am missing here:

# ../configure --host=arm-linux-eabi --build=i686-pc-linux-gnu --with-headers=/opt/arm-linux-toolchain/arm-linux-eabi/sys-include --enable-add-ons=nptl,../glibc-ports-2.8 --enable-shared --prefix=/opt/arm-linux-toolchain
