Please don't do that. -next isn't a reliable base for *anything*. For
all I know, half of what's in -next is broken and will never be
merged. This makes the whole thing untestable.
Base your patches on a release tag: ideally an -rc from Linus' tree,
or (worse case) a kvmarm tag for patches targeting KVM/arm64.
We can easily deal with conflicts at merge time if necessary, and ask
you to check that nothing broke in the process.
