I'd say that having rtc selftests failing will add a bit of headache
to those that run integration tests, as the test will need to be
marked as an exception. Another option would be to make the tests a
bit more flexible, but I'm not sure this is the right way. I guess we
can make this user configurable via a module parameter so the user has
the final decision. Just my two cents.
