Hi,

Thanks for exposing yourself.

By that comment, you made it clear to the whole world that you aren't
just being forced by some rouge government that's trying to kill the
1st amendment (which for good reasons is protected by the 2nd), but
it's *you* who wants these maintainers out - it's *you* who's spitting
in their faces (and so into all of our faces!) and dishonor all the
value work we all have done. It is *you* who errected the iron curtain.

Is that you father speaking, who painted a big target cross on his
own country just for satisfying his russophobian phantasies ?

This phrasing has the potential to destroy your own life's work.
Is that really what you're up to ?

Did you even think a few think a few seconds about what you're doing here ?

I still remember the old times, when you insisted the project being
non-political and even refused proposed license changes that would
exclude military use.

You one have been my youth hero, you - and the (now former) spirit of
the Linux community, working for freedom, free code code, from and for
_we the people_, was what brought me into FOSS development (and later
  also becoming a kernel maintainer).

But that all has changed. You have changed. You've betrayed us all.
You've turned from a "benevolent dictator" into an ideologically drilled
tyrant.

When you dance with the devil, the devil doesn't change. The devil
changes you. You have become just like Bill Gates, the man we've
fought for decades.

Look into a mirror - if you still can.

It is an anglo-american empire thing.

If you haven't heard of the US consititution, you should try to read it.

What does keeping you own original values or treating the valuable
contributors and their work with the due respect have to do with that
war ?

Is spreading more hate your recipie for ending the war ?
Are you also belonging to the kind of people calling for "fight to the
last Ukrainian" ?!

The only way for ending this war and stop the horrible suffering and
dying is negotiating peace. Now! Before there's nobody left who could
make peace.

By the way, I'm German - grown up in the former GDR. We've been Soviet-
occupied for 40 years and locked behind the iron curtain. And part of
my family is coming from area of Mariupol (and yes, they also suffered
from that war). Don't dare calling me a russian troll.

Okay, since you asked for it: History.

As said, I'm coming from Germany. We all know what unspeakable
atrocities the Nazi did. Or ask the Serbs what also German troops did
to their country, back in the 90s (eg. bombing villages with DU - a
WoMD). And IIRC UN still listing Germany's enemy state.

So by *your own* logic you'd have to throw out all of us Germans, too.

Go on, just do it. Say goodbye to x86 subsys, clocksource subsys,
huge parts of ARM, etc. It's your own choice. Be prepared to starting
actually writing your own code yourself again.

Oh, and let's not forget how many wars of aggression the US has waged
in the world. You'll have to throw out all US-americans, too.

Have fun with that
