Hi Suzuki,

Add a check in probe is a good idea, and perhaps we could also add CONFIG_ETM4X_IMPDEF_FEATURE
here, like:
 etm4x_probe() {
 ...
 #ifdef CONFIG_ETM4X_IMPDEF_FEATURE
     etm4x_check_arch_features();
 #endif
 }
