It's supposed to be supported by the video
string. Documentation/fb/modedb.txt defines:
Valid mode specifiers (mode_option argument):
<xres>x<yres>[M][R][-<bpp>][@<refresh>][i][m][eDd]
<name>[-<bpp>][@<refresh>]
So we can't just copy the string over, and we need to parse it :/
