Using a PIP video Window

I wrote a video application to show tv on odroid-n2. Now I want to open a PIP window for a 2nd video stream.
As I can find no docu on howto to that I ask it here.

Currently I open /dev/amstream_vbuf
Set the format
Init the Port
send Es Video Data and get a video Picture on screen

Now do I need to do to enable a PIP Window and send e 2nd stream ?  I have seen dat several PIP functions are available in the kernel, but what device do I need to open and how to config it.
