Dear all
Summary:
du -hc /afs/movesole.com/tmp
gives infinie mount loop when
/afs/movesole.com/tmp contains
mounted Backup volume of tmp
Here:
fs examine /afs/movesole.com/tmp
File /afs/movesole.com/tmp (536870939.1.1) contained in volume 536870939
Volume status for vid = 536870939 named tmp
...
fs examine /afs/movesole.com/tmp/Backup
File /afs/movesole.com/tmp/Backup (536870941.1.1) contained in volume 536870941
Volume status for vid = 536870941 named tmp.backup
...
This backup volume is mounted here so that users have
access to latest backup without administrators help.
Using openafs this works OK
du -hc /afs/movesole.com/tmp
But using kafs
du -hc /afs/movesole.com/tmp
gives infinite
/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/
Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/B
ackup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/..
..
And mount command gives:
#movesole.com:tmp.backup on
/afs/movesole.com/tmp/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/
....
/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/
Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup/Backup type afs (ro,relatime,flock=local)
My current kernel version is 6.7.5
