ETAs for libusbx operability and first release?

In my view, this would be premature.

I think we need a release first.

As a spectator in this, watching libusbx is deja vu all over
again unless we/you have a release. I don't mean this in a negative
way and it has only been a few weeks, but nothing positive
perception wise can be had by getting attention and more
spectators to watch the non-progress of libusbx, unless we have
a release under our belts. I'm sure (or hope) that a lot
has been going on behind the scenes, but nothing sort of
official release is going to look convincing.
