Hi Thomas,

Following are the Bison version available in CentOS5.0.

hostapd-0.7.3  hostapd-0.7.3.tar.gz  libnl-3.2.3  libnl-3.2.3.tar.gz  ppc_lib  wpa_supplicant-0.7.3.tar.gz
[root at localhost wifi_open_src]# bison --version
bison (GNU Bison) 2.3
Written by Robert Corbett and Richard Stallman.
Copyright (C) 2006 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
This is free software; see the source for copying conditions.  There is NO
warranty; not even for MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
[root at localhost wifi_open_src]#

is that ok? or we need to update with some other version.

I suspect that you are using an incompatible yacc version. Try using
GNU bison.
