<HTML><BODY style="word-wrap: break-word; -khtml-nbsp-mode: space; -khtml-line-break: after-white-space; ">Hi,<DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>First of all, thanks for a great library, it does exactly what I want! :-)</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>I hope there is still someone on this list who can help me with this thing. Is it true that, if I want to distribute an application that uses libical, every user of my application must have libical installed in the same place where I originally installed it (e.g. /usr/local/)? The reason seems to be that libical needs to have access to the timezone information in the ../shared, if I'm not mistaken.</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>In my situation, I am using libical in an app on Mac OS X. The whole application gets compiled into an app bundle, which is supposed to be self contained - i.e. all libraries and other resources are supposed to be inside that bundle. It shouldn't be necessary for the user to install additional things outside that bundle. Now, it seems to me that I cannot work with libical in that way - or can I somehow specifiy a relative path to tell libical where to look for the zoneinfo? If that is possible, can someone tell me how to do it, or point me to the right documentation?</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>All help greatly appreciated!</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>Cheers,</DIV><DIV>Knud</DIV><DIV><DIV> <SPAN class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: separate; border-spacing: 0px 0px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; text-align: auto; -khtml-text-decorations-in-effect: none; text-indent: 0px; -apple-text-size-adjust: auto; text-transform: none; orphans: 2; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; "><P style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px"><FONT face="Helvetica" size="3" style="font: 12.0px Helvetica">-------------------------------------------------</FONT></P><P style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px"><FONT face="Helvetica" size="3" style="font: 12.0px Helvetica">Knud Möller, MA</FONT></P><P style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px"><FONT face="Helvetica" size="3" style="font: 12.0px Helvetica">+353 - 91 - 495086</FONT></P><P style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px"><FONT face="Helvetica" size="3" style="font: 12.0px Helvetica">Digital Enterprise Research Institute</FONT></P><P style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px"><FONT face="Helvetica" size="3" style="font: 12.0px Helvetica"><SPAN class="Apple-converted-space"> <SPAN class="Apple-converted-space"> </SPAN></SPAN>National University of Ireland, Galway</FONT></P><P style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px"><FONT face="Helvetica" size="3" style="font: 12.0px Helvetica">Institiúid Taighde na Fiontraíochta Digití</FONT></P><P style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px"><FONT face="Helvetica" size="3" style="font: 12.0px Helvetica"><SPAN class="Apple-converted-space"> <SPAN class="Apple-converted-space"> </SPAN></SPAN>Ollscoil na hÉireann, Gaillimh</FONT></P><BR class="Apple-interchange-newline"></SPAN> </DIV><BR></DIV></BODY></HTML>
