<p>I remember the python wrapper to be in state "unmaintained".</p>

<p>the last release I remember it being build was .23; It threw lots of warnings while doing the swig stuff, and nobody wanted to fix them. I guess it finaly didn't want to compile.</p>

<p>If you need the python bindings, you should have a look at that too.</p>
