Your patch contains lots of stuff that isn't related to that Mozilla bug.

I see the discussion and I see 2 patches.

The first patch is rather simple and looks related to the bug.
The second patch looks more like a diff of all your local changes
to the libical code.  Can you please provide more explanation?
