Does anyone want to work on this?
If we have a 0.32.1 release, we should include this patch and test program.
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=548268

I'm pretty busy this week, but I will make time to work on this if necessary..
Let me know.

This is the right move. Now the Evolution developers should do the same.
I'll suggest it.

I didn't know the SF.net project was planning a release. I wish I had
heard about it earlier, because I recently discovered that the Evolution
fork of libical has (IMHO) a serious bug, and the SF.net libical has
inherited that problem when they merged the code earlier.

The main effect is that in large parts of the world (Western Europe,
Australia, South America, Asia) the transition from summer saving time
to winter time will not be calculated correctly.

Here's the original report and the one I just created on SF.net:

http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2096602&group_id=16077&atid=116077

Hopefully a libical-0.32.1 can be released quickly. As I said on the
SF.net bug report, please don't shoot the messenger :-/

Seems like the distros will be busy with updates, as Evolution also
needs to be patched/recompiled.
