 Since (the real) libical is now a dependency for KDE 4.2, it is 
reasonable to guess that most, if not all, Linux distributions will begin 
including libical in their repositories.  
   
 This is a *big* implication.  We should think about the effect of this on 
our short to medium term plans, and on other downstream projects.  
Presumably the de-forking will accelerate once the majority of the world 
is able to simply do "apt-get install libical" or "yum install libical".  
   
 Is there anything I'm not thinking of here?
