Wireless-tools v30 is needed for iwconfig power period functionality.

this on a Gumstix board with Libertas deep sleep patches and it worked

<pre wrap="">Hi,
I use Linux 2.6.29. I have a libertas module connected over sdio.
I find that there exists no pm support for sdio modules.
The usb libertas module has pm support which invokes lbs_suspend to
put the chip to low power state.
Is this intentionally left out? Wont turning off the sdio clocks
suffice. Does this mean i need to download the firmware again?

Thank you, I tried to back the driver from 2.6.33 to 2.6.29.
$ iwconfig eth0 power off -- Does not result in any power saving at all.
However, when i try to do a
$iwconfig eth0 power period 5
Error for wireless request "Set Power Management" (8B2C) :
invalid argument "5".
Should i also update the upper layers as well? has anyone tried this
on a 2.6.29 kernel?

<pre wrap="">I use OMAP3. I have turned just off the sdio clocks during suspend
I will look into the 2.6.33 kernel and try to back port it.
