libertas_tf sdio support in recent kernels

Is there anyone who has libertas_tf sdio support working in a recent
kernel (like 3.5)?

It seems that only usb support for the thin firmware is present.

We're trying to get AP mode on a gumstix overo which has an sd8686.

Any pointers would be appreciated, or if you would like to take this
on as a consultant project, please let me know.
