Monitor Mode Question

Hi,

I've recently got my gumstix setup using the libertas_tf driver and
this seems to be working fine as far as I can tell.

However, I had a question about monitor mode. Is it a true RFMON type
mode or is the firmware only able to operate in a promiscuous mode? At
the moment I can't get any data packets out of it at all, only
management frames!
