Where is documentation for usage/operation of Libertas.ko?

A bit of it is also in drivers/net/wireless/libertas/README, at 
least it was the last time I looked into the wireless-2.6 git 
tree.

You need to deal with libertas.ko only if you want to write your 
own hardware access. Right new we have modules for SDIO, CF and 
USB based Marvell 838x devices.
