This doesn't fly. The 'binutils-2.30.tar.bz2' archive bundles *.rej files:

     binutils-2.30/ld/ChangeLog.rej
     binutils-2.30/ld/ldlang.c.rej

which causes fatal build errors

     Aborting.  Reject files found.

Oops.
