Correct, i just grabbed the 4.9 patches and compiled lede image,
sysupgrade worked like a charm (going from 4.4.91 to 4.9.54). Everything
is working fine for the past 12 hours on my WNDR3700v4 here. I do see
one module is missing though (not sure if it does exist in 4.9 kernel)
the image i use has 244 modules ;-).
daemon.notice procd: /etc/rc.d/S96led: Skipping trigger 'usbport' for
led 'USB' due to missing kernel module
Hauke, thanks for your work, esp. the NAND patch which always has been
problematic in the past kernel bringups. I do hope this lands into main
lede tree soon, why it took this long to have ar71xx kernel 4.9 support?
