Hi,

I'm also hacking about Annex on my lantiq-based fritzbox 3370..

On my fb3370, I ended up in a similar HW hack about the bootstrap
resistors. This has been enough to load Annex A firmware, that
otherwise failed.

Also I own both a fb3370 DE-version (Annex B only) and afb3370
international edition (both Annex A and B officially supported) and I
can tell the two PCB are identical, the transformer are identical, and
all other components I've checked are identical. The international
edition's official firmware also runs fine on the DE-version board..

Possibly on other devices it's the same as for fb3370, and only
changing bootstrap pins is enough to make firmware load. Not sure if
devices that are designed for one Annex only will perform good also on
the other Annex..

I agree..
