Ugh, I was sure I had at least pushed a temporary fix ([1] and [2]) to LEDE
after not coming to a conclusion upstream quickly, but it seems I forgot
that. By now, the patches are bitrotten... I should pick up the upstream
discussion and finally get this fixed properly. I'm currently working on a
few other things, but I hope I'll eventually get to it.
