You don't for the patch to function. Just for the stats.

As far as I'm concerned, this is ready for inclusion. Though the people
with merge rights may disagree, of course. :)

I did get a minor issue pointed out to me on linux-wireless, will
re-send the LEDE patch with the fix in a bit...
