Yeah, you should. Do you have
/sys/kernel/debug/ieee80211/phy0/ath9k/airtime_flags ?

No, don't think so. Did you reload the right kernel modules after
installing the updated kmod package? You'll need to reload at least the
'ath' and 'ath9k' modules...
