I think it is not an issue with 0x hex value. Because I can confirm that `uqmi -d /dev/cdc-wdm0 --stop-network 0xffffffff --autoconnect` does exactly the same and works.

I see this command in several places in qmi.sh but could it be that they are not executed? I am a total noob at this but is it so that qmi.sh is executed by daemon? but /dev/cdc-wdm0 has owner/root read/write access only?

Could that be the reason of not seeing the effect?
