NAK. The patches will not be rolled back. I prefer to fix issue instead.

The reported issue is fixed and it works now exactly the same way as it worked with r5053. Just the interfaces are **created** with a different name. At least to my reading you haven't tested a fixed version.

But it is impossible to fix any bugs you reported if you don't have the time to test fixes. Furthermore the patch which introduced the issue was send via the usual public channels, was left for review/testing a reasonable amount of time, but didn't received any responses (has to be read as everything is fine).

Please keep in mind that you are using the development branch (which is much appreciated by the way). You have to expect random breakage, which is usually fixed after reported.
