Could it be that you have done a hardware modification and changed the flash chip of the DIR-615 H1? According to our [[https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/hwdata/d-link/d-link_dir-615_h1|techdata]] and [[https://wikidevi.com/wiki/D-Link_DIR-615_series|wikidevi]] the DIR-615 H1 has 4 MByte flash chip.

The MX25L6435E is detected correctly in both bootlogs. But the DIR-615 H1 has a [[https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/blob/master/target/linux/ramips/dts/DIR-615-H1.dts#L64|partition map]] for a 4 MByte flash chip (check the size of the firmware partition).

The NBG-419N v2 has a 8 MByte chip and hence a [[https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/blob/master/target/linux/ramips/dts/NBG-419N2.dts#L13|partition map]] for a 8 MByte chip.
