I can't reproduce this. get_source_date_epoch.sh uses the commit time rather than the author time (you can check both using `git log --pretty=fuller`), which is Fri Apr 20 21:08:52 2018 +0200 for the commit you mention.

Also note that using a recent date as the output of get_source_date_epoch.sh is just for convenience; FWIW, we could just always use Jan 1 1970 and it wouldn't be any less "correct".
