[FS#1012] Cannot access Domino Pi with single ethernet tile after flashing to 17.01.2

Details - Flashed a Domino Pi with single ethernet tile from its default firmware (Barrier Breaker I think?) to LEDE using firmware for GL-M9331 Core (Domino Core) (ar71xx).
Could not access the device after flashing - WiFi is off by default, and I could not access LuCI when connecting to ethernet. 

The single ethernet tile uses eth0 which is attached to the WAN, eth1 is connected to br-lan which is available on the dual ethernet tile (which I do not have). Was able to use some jumper wires to connect the separated single ethernet tile to eth1 on the base board which allowed me access to LuCI.
