This device has only 3648k of available space for kernel+rootfs. Current kernel version in LEDE requires around ~1382k (lzma) and minimal version of rootfs (without swconfig and uboot-envtools packages included) ~2226k. Also, the filesystem requires at least few erase blocks (64k) to be able to work at all.

I'm afraid we are no longer able to support this device and all I can recommend you is to build a custom image, with very minimal kernel configuration (e.g. disable support for all other boards/machines, remove unused drivers, etc.).
