I'm having the same problem with my TP-Link TL-WDR4300 v1.

Firmware version: LEDE Reboot 17.01.1 r3316-7eb58cf109

This appears to be a regression from 17.01.

OP can you confirm that you are using 17.01.1 and not 17.01.
