Tested with Dragino2 (AR9331) firmware downloaded from the 17.01.1 latest stable release and tested for the issue.

Reboot (17.01.1, r3316-7eb58cf109)

The problem still exists in this version - you can not run an AP interface at the same time as a Meshpoint (or Adhoc) interface.
