You would need this patch in the patches-4.9 directory and target/linux/ipq806x/patches-4.4/300-arch-arm-force-ZRELADDR-on-arch-qcom.patch unset CONFIG_AUTO_ZRELADDR=y from the config-4.9 via make kernel_menuconfig.

It then comes up but kernel panics 20 to 40 seconds later.
