Hi Sven,
the drops are probably caused by the missing beacons like you said.
Felix said he was tinkering with the calibration. It looks like it can't converge to a stop, and that's thrashing the cpu or the queues.
Out of curiosity, debug level 0xffffffff on Chaos Calmer is quite mild on the log, producing almost no output:
