Details - - LEDE build: r2675-4af4f21 (about Dec 27)

- Device: Netgear R6100 router

- Steps to reproduce: I flashed the factory firmware (/snapshots/targets/ar71xx/nand/lede-ar71xx-nand-r6100-ubi-factory.img) from the trunk download, then re-flashed a sysupgrade firmware of the same branch. I also tried to install the ath10k firmware.

- What I observed: No ath9k 2.4Ghz wifi module found. There is also no mention of the ath9k ever being active. The lspci command does not list the ath9k module.

When I flashed the OpenWRT 15.05.1 image, then the ath9k wifi showed up.
