I had a look at the caldata dumps. The non functional do not contain any data.

Might be that you have done some experiments with your D7800 and erased the caldata. But to be honest, that is more or less crystal ball reading.

What I can say for sure is that there are no caldata at the expected flash position. As long as no one else comes along with the same problem, it looks like that you have done something wrong.

I would propose to close the bug report as invalid.
