This seems to be a memory access bug in kmodloader of the ubox package.  But I still cannot reproduce it on armvirt which is supposed to be an arm-cortex-a15 environment compared to arm-xscale of this kirkwood device.

The module filename should be mwl8k.ko, so output of the following commands should help


modinfo mwl8k
modprobe mwl8k


Can you test your own build of the firmware of current lede-17.01 branch HEAD and see if the issue persists?
